The Boards of the GPBA and the PWBA would like to congratulate all of our wonderful Inductees into the 22nd Joint Bowling Hall of Fame. If you missed this exciting evening your new hall of inductees for this year were Betty L. DeBates (Pioneer Award) and Arla R. Scarcliff (Meritorious Service) for the PWBA. 2 Outstanding Bowlers Craig A. Catton and Paul Swanson, along with Terry L. Rudd for Meritorious Service for the GPBA The Joint Hall of Fame dinner was held November 13th, 2010 at the Holiday Inn City Center in Peoria,IL. Dinner and the inductions went very well..Along with some great comments from our inductees.. Many comments like Team-Commitment- Friendships-Relationships These are words that mean so much to all of us because of the sport of the bowling.. Paul Swanson and all the inductees thanked their teammates and commented on the friends along the way. This is what our sport brings to this generation as well as prior and into the future. FRIENDSHIPS-RELATIONSHIPS that will follow us forever...... The Joint Hall of Fame committee would like to remind you that this event happens each year in November. So we do hope to have more folks join us next year.. |
